Story
Hello people, I am raising money in memory of our friends beautiful daughter Erin who passed away at barely 3 months old. She had pneumococcal meningitis and she didn't have a chance. All the money raised will go towards research and equipment to help eradicate this cruel disease. (See the Erin Eilish Anne Cooke Forever Fund page) I stupidly decided to enter this event thinking it was a civilized cross country 10km run, but oh no after reading up (just 1 month before the event) i found out the wolf run is 'wild running' which apparently involves muddy obstacles, swamps and even swimming through a cold muddy lake........not quite sure how I'm going to train and prepare for this as I'm scared of slugs......but ill be giving it a damn good go regardless!
